Connecting an external energy meter

The product is compatible with the following energy meters:

  1. Install the external energy meter in the upstream electrical installation.
  2. Connect the energy meter and the product with a data cable.

Configuration tool:
If the energy meter is to measure external consumers only, an additional setting has to be made in the configuration tool (“Meter measuring point” parameter).

Blackout protection:
Blackout protection is enabled automatically for solar charging, which is why the max. amperage provided by the building connection must also be set via the DIP switches.

Sun button

Press the Sun button (1) to select the charging mode according to the following diagram.

The set charging mode is indicated by the “Sun” (2) LED:

  • The Sun button has no function unless solar charging has been set up.
  • Switching from Standard mode, Sunshine mode or Sunshine+ mode is always possible (also while charging is in progress).
